A Story from Senior Year…
My laptop is currently broken, so I’ve been using my old desktop to do my technological bidding. It’s slow, dusty, runs windows XP, and still has Maple Story installed on it.

It’s been a great past few days.

While taking some time to peruse all my old assignments from high school, I stumbled upon this little gem I thought I’d share with you all. (Those of you that went to Sunny Hills and had classes with me might enjoy this more than others.)

The Perfect Senior Year
“GOOD MORRRRRRNING HAPPY LANCERS! Today is August 30, 2007, the first day of the 07-08 school year,” the announcements chimed. “A reminder to Seniors, make sure you drop by room 5 today during break so you can pick up your crown, scepter, cape, and other appropriate furnishings. You are, after all, the kings and queens of Sunny Hills! Also, during break and lunch this year, we will be passing out complimentary lollipops and ice cream cones. It’s your senior year, take it easy.” The class roared with applause.
“Good morning scholars, I’m Mr. Oudega, your teacher for ice cream cake V.S pie 101. This class is simple; you pick a side and bring in a sample, then we eat and discuss. This is a weighted class and considered the most prestigious elective course for seniors in the college world,” the beaming instructor stated.
“Nice, this class seems awesome,” Robert whispered.
“Hey Rob, what are your classes this year?” inquired Harry Potter.
“Well, I’ve got free first, ice cream cake V.S pie second, Board Games third, Video Games fourth, and Reindeer Games fifth. Free sixth.”
“That’s a lot of games.”
“Yea, I’m a player.”
“I’ve got free first as well, ICCVSP second, hugs and cuddling third, puppies and sunshine fourth, and gangsta rap 5 AP/IB fifth. Free sixth.”
“Gangsta Rap?”
“Yea, I’m thinking about going pro.”
“That’s awesome, think of a name yet?”
“I was thinking like… the Wiz kid, or maybe Lil Boy Who Lived.”
“I’ll be the first to buy your album.”
“Gee, thanks. Robert, can I tell you something? This may sound a bit fruity but you’re my hero. Like, seriously, you are so brave and courageous and heroic and selfless. They should write books about you, man.” The bell hummed, second period was over.
“Thanks Harry, I really appreciate it. To be honest, I get that a lot. Clark Kent, Bruce Wayne, and Chuck Norris were just telling me that. Nevertheless, it doesn’t get old.”
“Man, you are so cool. See you tomorrow”
“Later.”
As you can see, I’ve vastly matured as a writer, cuz I’m in college and stuff.
