More fun at the library
Two girls: “hi, can we reserve a study room for 8:30pm?”
me: “Unfortunately we only give those out on a first come, first serve basis. If you’d like one you can wait near the desk until 8:30, or you can come back at 8:30 and see if one is open then. If a room opens up before then though, I’ll have to give it to someone else if you’re not here.”
Two girls (technically one, speaking, in a playful tone): “Can’t you just like… text us when it opens up?”
